Class I Recall: Organic Blueberries Recalled Over Listeria Risk
On June 9, 2025, Alma Pak International LLC initiated a recall of 400 boxes of organic blueberries after tests detected Listeria monocytogenes. The FDA later classified it a Class I recall on July 1, 2025.
Affected products: Lot No. 13325 G1060 and 13325 G1096 in North Carolina.
Listeria can cause listeriosis, a severe infection that’s especially dangerous for pregnant women and the elderly.
What to Do:
– Check for matching lot numbers.
– Do not consume. Discard or return to the store.
– Sanitize surfaces and wash hands thoroughly.
